Hey. I’m a journalist with lots of interests, more than I can cover at work.

So, each day I post about something that’s caught my eye or got me thinking. Often that means economics or politics, but you’ll also find posts about eggplant crop yields, Garibaldi’s inability to recruit peasants and the number of real estate agencies in Palma de Mallorca.

Writing is also my day job (this blog is an early-morning-before-work job). You can find most of my Reuters reporting here. Warning, there’s very little eggplant crop yield content.

I’ve also written about how first-class travel made me sad, why liberals should be radical and where democratic reform should start. Also, lots, and lots, and lots about central banks.

This blog is a personal project and is no way related to my employer yada yada yada
